I just took the final for the last class of my Masters program! I'm done!! :)

Five and a half more weeks and I'm done with my Masters. I want so badly to just stop now, say I'm done. I'm really enjoying the class I'm taking, but it's eating up all of my personal time. Today I'm especially stressed because I have to write a paper and prepare a presentation. I really dislike writing papers...
I started inquiring about a 10-year reunion since I hadn't heard anything. I found out that some folks at MySpace have gotten together to try to plan the Reunion. I've created a webpage to track the planning details and and we have a MySpace Reunion Group for discussions. Be sure to sign up for the mailing list if you want to stay informed on the details of the reunion!
Well my latest school term ended last Sunday. I know I got an A in my Database Management course. I'm still waiting to see what I got on the final in my Finance course. I will either have an A or A-, but I'm pretty sure it will be an A. Yay. :)
Slight revision to my hectic schedule:
July 8 - 10 -- Vegas trip
July 15 - 17 -- SF trip (brother's karate tournament)
July 19 - 22 & July 26 - 29 -- Audit Assist near Ventura
Aug 7 - 19 -- Auditor school at March ARB
Aug 31 - Sep 13 -- East coast trip with Mike
The Ani concert on Sept 18th was cancelled. I hope she recovers, but since she'll still be working on recording projects, I'm a little concerned. As far as the time goes though, honestly, I'm somewhat relieved. I was going to have to take that Monday off work since the concert was on a Sunday and in the Bay Area. Half of my vacation is going to be leave without pay, and half of that Monday would have been leave without pay as well, so I need to start accumulating vacation time again!
This last term was pretty busy, and I traveled so much during it! In addition to the above schedule, my brother got married on June 11th (yay!), which was just two weeks into the term. And I had somewhere to go every weekend between then and the above chaos! Luckily, the others were local, one-day trips, but still...
So now that it's over, I feel FREEDOM! I'm taking the Fall I term off, so I won't be back in school until mid-October! That means my weeknights are MINE again! I can read for pleasure, I can relax, and I can get back to the boxes that are still unpacked from my move back in February!
However, as the schedule above shows, I'll be gone for 4 weeks out of my little break. But I'm looking forward to both of those trips...the training for work should be fun and of course the two week excursion in Sept will be a VACATION that Mike and I so desperately need. I'm very proud of Mike, but man he works really hard. He's in a unique position where he's able to work for himself and has more work than he can handle. Unfortunately, that means he's ALWAYS working. Even his mini vacations involve work of some sort, even if it's unpaid work helping out a family member with computer problems or something. The beginning of our Sept vacation will actually be work for him too because he's photographing a friend's wedding. But he vowed to not work for the rest of the vacation after the wedding.
Today, I finally got to start reading The Talisman given to me by Erik last Christmas. I will also be seeing Erik in the next two weeks and borrowing the new Harry Potter. Yay! :)
I've been so bad about keeping up with my blog...sorry about that. School last term kept me pretty darn busy. However, I got A's in both classes (Organizational Behavior and Computer Resources and Information Management). Yay! Three classes down (I took Statistics during the Spring I term) and 9 more to go for my Masters. I only had a week break and now I'm back in school for the Summer term. I am taking Fall I off though, so I'll have a break for all of August and September and half way through October.
The two classes I'm taking now are Database Management and Finance. The Finance course I'm actually taking online, which is interesting. I stayed up until 4am doing homework for that class...yech. I'm going to be out of town the next two weekends (my brother's wedding in San Diego next weekend and a visit to Vegas the weekend after that), so I'm trying to do a lot of the homework ahead of time. Today, I'm going to tackle homework for my Database Management course.
Mike got stuck in the Bay Area all week because his car broke down. His birthday was Wednesday, so we're going to celebrate it tonight when he gets home. I'm super excited about one thing I was able to pick up for him yesterday...but on the off chance that he reads this, I'll wait until after he sees it before blogging about it.
Navi has ring worm again. :( I really hate bathing the cats, but it looks like I'm going to have to do it every 2-3 days again until it goes away. Poor things are SUPER cuddly after their baths. They must think I'm punishing them...I hate it. :(
Okay, enough procrastinating...
I'm going back to school...in about a week and a half. My first textbook arrived today via UPS. They actually tried to deliver while I was at work yesterday. I had today off, so I was waiting for them. Finally I had to leave for the post office before they closed. Was gone for all of 5 minutes, but I left a note on the door for UPS to just leave the package because I would be right back. Low and behold, when I got back from my 5 minute trip, there was a package at my door. Good thing I left the note.
